Bakery Cottage

Bakery Cottage comprises a single storey Norfolk flint dwelling, situated off the main street in a quiet sheltered courtyard with parking available. Children and pets are most welcome. A travel cot and high chair are also available.

We love our cottage, and we hope you will too!

The picturesque quayside is a 300 yard walk from the cottage giving access to acres of marshland owned by the National Trust.

A Picnic table, gas barbeque and garden chairs are provided.

Blakeney - Unspoilt Beauty

Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There is a well-stocked supermarket and Post Office, fishmongers, an interiors shop, chandlers and two pubs.

There are also clothes shops, and a delicatessen.

Things To Do

  • Bird watching at Cley.


  • Crab fishing at Morston (off one of the bridges) or at Blakeney Quay.


  • Fine churches at Cley, Blakeney, Morston, Wiveton and Weybourne.


  • Miles of sand at low tide at Stifkey (pronounced Stewkey).


  • Visit Burnham Market (Nelson's village) - Lovely market town.


  • Take the ferry from Brancaster to Scolt Head Island.

  • Shirehorse Centre, West Runton, Holt and Sheringham are all places worth a visit for shopping, eating out and the infamous Sheringham Steam Train
